Dial in the fit for your printer
Every printer squeezes plastic a little differently, and PETG spreads more than PLA. A tenth of a millimetre is the difference between a switch that snaps in and one that rattles or cracks the plate. fidgify ships sizes that suit most printers, but a quick test print tells us exactly what suits yours.
How it works
Print the coupon
Pick your switch type and the filament you print clickers in, then download the coupon. It is one small plate that prints in a few minutes, with no supports.
Test the plate cutouts
Push a switch into each square opening from the top. A good fit clicks in and stays put when you tug on it; a loose one wobbles or drops out.
Test the stem sockets
Flip the coupon over and press each round boss onto the stem of a switch. A good fit needs a firm press and does not slide off on its own.
Record your best cells
For each row, choose the loosest cell that still holds firmly — the number printed next to it. Every clicker you build afterwards with that switch and material uses those values.
The labels run from −0.15 (tighter) to +0.15 (looser), in millimetres from our standard size. The coupon is built on your device and never counts towards your export allowance.
